Special Events
There are
several local events which are very important to our club.
These are "traditional" events in which a large number of
our club members participate and which help our club competition
points grow. As a club, we need to support the local
triathlons in able to allow those events to survive.
Of course we understand that due to your personal goals and
training you might not be able to participate in all of these, but
please try to if at all possible. In return, the
producers of these local events also attempt to participate in our
triathlon, the Rose City Triahtlon. These local events

Let the Dogs Out Race 5K May 28, 2011
Chris Holcomb, one of our club members, is the race director for a
benefit 5K which will be in Rusk, TX on May 28. The proceeds
from this race will go to benefit the Country Ladies Animal Rescue
to help the homeless animals in East Texas. Kids, strollers,
and dogs are more than welcome to join the run!
